This weblog is dedicated to exploring images for meaning and exploring the world for meaningful images. It’s not about how to take pictures, but why. The only research I can offer is what I discover in the course of my work, and what I encounter in other photographs. I offer it to help myself and others see more meaning in the world, a deeper experience of our lives, with or without a camera.
Just as light reflects differently from varying surfaces, our reflections will differ greatly, so the idea for me is not to find definitions of images, but possibilities. The world is art, and we spend our lives learning to appreciate it.
A weblog has to be free to be fine; if I had to polish every past nuance I’d never move forward. Blather surrounds the occasional pearls. Let me know what you think.
